Halibut Big Catches Photo Gallery

Here's a 120lb beauty caught off Victoria by local anglers Martin and Leo
Stratholt.  The fish took an 8oz jig in 150 feet of water on medium action
bait casting tackle.  Who says you have to use heavy tackle to catch big fish!

 It looks like this young angler will enjoy a lifetime of halibut fishing! Taking youngsters fishing, for halibut or any species is a great way to "hook" them on a lifetime of fishing enjoyment.
